There is a list of participants available under the Forum Program section
of this website. Each person has provided a biography and their view on the
future of Australia. Participants have been invited as individuals, not as representatives of their sectors or their organisations. The views expressed in their statements are those of the individual participant. Except where the participant specifically states to the contrary, those views do not represent the views of any business organisation with which the participant may be associated.
Final recommendations were made by a group comprising the Forum Management
Committee and independent community representatives including: Mr Tim
Costello AO, Chief Executive Officer of World Vision Australia, Mr Don Henry,
Executive Director of the Australian Conservation Foundation, Ms Wendy
McCarthy AO, Chancellor of the University of Canberra, Ms Katie Lahey,
Chief Executive of the Business Council of Australia and Ms Barbara Livesey, Chief Executive Officer of Reconciliation Australia.
