7 February 2006 - Emerging Leaders To Present Visions For Australia Tomorrow (pdf 44kb)

The findings of the Australian Future Directions Forum will be made public during the closing session at the Sebel Heritage, Yarra Valley, tomorrow.

Ninety of Australia’s emerging young leaders have been in closed discussions for the past three days examining future scenarios for the nation. The group will report findings and recommendations for issues that they see as important over the next 25 years.

Media are invited to attend the Australian Future Directions Forum opening ceremony at the Sebel Heritage, Yarra Valley, Sunday, 5 February 2006.

The Victorian Treasurer, the Hon John Brumby MP will open the Forum involving close to 100 of Australia’s emerging young leaders. The key note address will be given by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Hon Marilyn Warren AC.
